A happy teacher

Recently, flu has been a quite loyal friend of mine. Makes it in the morning at night, you'll always can see me with blocked and red nose. Not a pretty sight though. Despite of gulping various supplement, the flu is always a comeback since I know I had put more stress on my self work-wise compared to last year.

This year, I am given a trust to teach English for UPSR in my school, to make it more cliche, it is the killer subject for this public exam and my pupils can't barely utter a word in English. Okayyyy, too much cliche, but it is that hard to them. Stressful indeed, I am pressured by my superior's expectation and of couse my victims are those 21 poor pupils of mine. To start with, I always remind them (sometimes sternly and sometimes friendly) to keep and improve their relationship and respect with elders (teachers and parents) and most importantly to our Allah Almighty. A word of humble doa is a must in morning class and solat Zohor is compulsory before attending my English extra class in the afternoon. I had become Ustazah Noa this week by reminding them, '' this afternoon, before my extra class, everyone must perform Solat Zohor first. If not, there you go...dilontarkan dalam api neraka di akhirat kelak. Kejayaan di dunia is nothing when in Akhirat, you are certainly head to neraka kerana tak solat''. Whoaaa..it is more a reminder to self lah :| And yeah, being strict a step prior to being friendly to my pupils, since this pupils will respect and obey you according to body size. Boleh? So sad for me though. Do I have to keep 'expanding' to gain these from them. Kids= headache. And in my class, a reward quite an easy thing to get, provided that the pupils obey me and accomplish their task on time and perfecto. Easy peasy! And so is the punishment, one time skip on my extra class, the pupils will get a free copy-this-text-10-times-and don't-get in-to your-class-till-you done from me. And yes, a bonus, you got to do that at the center of school, at school's stage. *clap clap* This week I get 5 pupils as my preys. I am a happy happy teacher :-)

But being on a stress-less note, I am always having fun teaching a lower level class, my Year 2 pupils. Being a class teacher, I have planned to deco my class with a polka dot theme. Can you imagine how adorable is that will be? Like yesterday, when I asked my pupils to help me colour some mushroom with polka dots for wall deco, I reminded my pupils to colour the mushroom brightly and nicely. And there goes this dialogue:

Teacher Noa: Nanti awak warna cantik² k, kita nak gantung mushroom dalam class. Ada pertandingan kelas cantek kannnn?

Pupils: Ok Cikgu, kita lawan kelas Tahun 4 cikgu (Year 4 is the most bright and beautiful class in my school).

Teacher Noa: Tauk punnnn..malu lah teacher if kelas teacher tak cantek, malu lah teacher muka jak cantek. Tapi kelas tak cantek.

Pupils: Mun macam ya, kita gantung muka cikgu jak lah..muka cikgu cantek, mushroom saya tak cantek.

Teacher Noa: T.T huhu

See, how can you are not feeling happy with this kids? Yes, I am a happy teacher :-)

Rezeki itu ujian

Cuti CNY dah over. So, now is time to back to reality. No more Noa in Wonderland. And somehow I rasa bukan macam Alice in Wonderland, coz tak adventerous sangat lah. Rasanya lebih kepada Queen of Hearts lah kadang-kadang. So this cuti, I heard one a not so good news. I have a girl cousin yang kawen on September last year, miscarriage jugak. It was the third time happened to our big family. First, it was my cousin E yang dah kawen rasa²nya masuk fifth year, dunno herself prego then suddenly turun darah. Then it was me, last year in my hujung² 12 weeks of pregnancy. and the latest is my cousin N. Kesian kan kami, tapi  kita harus redha. Ujian ujian.

I still remember, somewhere in the end of December 2011 hari tu, time seorang lagi my girl's cousin wedding, my aunty² dudok bersembang-sembang, then time I lalu depan dorang, they sarcastically *I supposed* asking me The Question,  just to compare me to this cousin N yang just announced that she was pregnant. Being I  an anti-social  a sopan-santun niece, I was trying my best to answer them politely that I am not a marsupial. Then dengan vangganya dorang bukak cerita yang N dah berjaya prego. Of course I terasa when being compared like that kan.  But, now see? The same thing happened to my cousin N. It's like, kalau dah ada rezeki tu, i just think tak payah lah ada pihak lain yang nak guna point tu nak hurt another party. Tak payah nak show off tanya² lah k, weols pun tgh berusaha. Kalau ada tu, the bump will show lah rite. No wonder time wedding tu, my cousin E sengaja 'away' dari hometown. Siap buat status kat FB lagi, lebih kurang macam ni, 'I m away, so hope semua yang gather tu happy. And if u guys plan to hurt me with The Question, saya dah maaf kan. Simpan aja niat uols tu'.

And, my point here is....rezeki itupun satu ujian. Either kita nak bersyukur atas kurniaan itu or sengaja bangga² n nak compare kan with others yang belum dapat rezeki tu. Rezeki itu pun satu pinjaman, bila² masa boleh kena ambil balik, I dah rasa and it takes time to rasa redha.

But I do think, to whine like everytime dalam your blog is so not WISE. Whining that uols stress, banyak kerja or whatever is kurang bersyukur bagi I. You know, that is your fairshare. You are carrying another life inside you, so takkan lah nak expect everything is the same like before kan. Some are willing to kill to feel the kicks inside their womb, yet you are blabbering this and that. Ingat, mesti syukur syukur syukur.

Lastly, baby dust to everyone yang TTC. Semoga kita pun dapat lahirkan insan soleh dan solehah jugak untuk menemani life kita. Allahumma amiiiin.

And yet, this is a pictureless entry. mak-mak ngerepak sekda berlukis bergambar indah koh.

Life of A Supplement Junkie

Ooo junkie yer? Yes, I am the one. Memang junkie, especially when it comes to some supplements that can improve my skin condition and inner (womanly) health. i always believe that cure is better than prevention :) My favorite supplement for skin is from Catalyst, proven fast effect and affordable.

Catalyst Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) Softgel (red), Catalyst VCO Liquid (blue) and Catalyst Collagen (yellow)

And for womanly health, i always keep my option wide open. My monthly must-have is Evening Primrose Oil, thanks to this magic capsule, I am a regular 28-days cycler with minimize or no PMS at all. I also had tried Catalyst Femme Vita and DCL Bidadari for this purpose.

DCL Bidadari (orange), Catalyst Femme Vita (pink), EPO (yellow flower's) and Spirulina for maintaining overall health (green)

Dual combo of Catalyst Collagen and Femme Vita, gulp together with apple juice. Yumm..

And my recent addition on my supplement rack are: Habbatus Sauda as immune system booster and maintaining overall health, Jamu Ratu Dara for womanly energy and *my favourite of all* as it gives me the fastest and most effective result to repair the inside's wear-and-tear. My keyword here is "Dara", okay; and lastly Zinc supplement that has been useful to cure breakouts along my jawline for the past two months. Nasty hormonal rage T.T

Jamu Ratu Dara (purple), Habbatus Sauda (green), Zinc Plus (silver).

And lastly, my recent buy: Vitamin E Collagen Oil. Yup, I easily succumbed on buying anything with collagen. Temptation, temptation :)

And, and, and, my wishlist: Skin supplement with glutathione. How? Too much, I know.

Life is Short.

Eat your dessert first.

My first pavlova, with Sista Soul's demonstration and help.
In my case, I do think there is a baker trapped inside a teacher's body here.
Agree?

Yum! It's another reason to cherish our short life.

Something new.

Do you notice anything new? It's obvious right? I love the header, it is SO me! And I'm happy to install the new layout, the background is SO me too (but you have to change the word "fairest" into "vainest" first lah). But the side bar layout is so plain, that was SO NOT me. No colour-colour, so no kanak-kanak ribena there. Ish, so how lah? Do I have to change this layout again, so that I can finally satisfied with all the elements?

I am a noob, a lazy one, you see.

This furry friend fells me. Muahs!

The Questions : The One That You Asked Me vs The One That I Kept to Myself

Phew Phew Phew.. Cuti sekolah dah nak abis rupanya :[ So maybe akan slow down lah sesi riang ria kanak-kanak sekolah, guru-guru sekolah and boleh lah maks and paks andam rileks and caterer cuci periuk belanga uols cz Alhamdulillah banyak dah yang bertemu jodoh :) *wink wink* Congrates ya to all couples esp cuzzy saya, friends from high school, varsity, maktabs, my previous company and everywhere uols lah. So, sepanjang cuti tok, Noa yang Vain sik lah banyak pergi pengilan sebab in a way, I think I have turn myself into *a lil bit of* anti-social. You know, influenced by faktor sekeliling especially after miscarriage, terasa malasnya nak bersosial ish ish. Tengok kiri and kanan, cuzzys and friends and random people my age semua dah ada "handbags". Oh la kasih kedirik. Saya yang Vain tok apalah yang ada, ada handbag pun bukan ada botol susu or what else di dalam, hanya ada compact powder, perfume, lip balm and tablet jer. Tak funky pun kan. Ditambah lagik at majlis sosial, everyone especially yang dah ada "handbags" and aunty-aunty asyik2 jak tanyak these questions : Dah ada kerr? Dah berisik? Haih, berisik juak badan kitak, mesti peknen nak? Eh kitak tok jak yang gik slim, belom kah? Dah mengidam kerrr?

Haih haih, muluts uols, nasib iols pengilan sik bawak cabik koh. Insensitive langsung kan? I think, if I ever get pregnant pun kan, InshaAllah I sik akan bising-bising koh. Like seriously, a bump will show bah mun masa dah time. U got what I mean rite? Like a previous one, happynya time I know that hubby and me were pregnant, but semuanya pinjaman belaka. Redha, Alhamdulillah and now TTC again, but rasanya if people around me are the sensitive type, sik perlu lah ask these questions kannnnnn? I know lah badan I dah ala Kim Kardashian, curvy mengalahkan preggers, hihi. But that doesn't mean I am pregnant, that is I am preparing my body towards pregnancy, boleh? *Alasan semata-mata after I gain almost 10 pounds sebab hati gembira makan ajerrr time school oliday tok.*

Make it this way, I sik ada pun bertanyak ngan uols these questions, "Bila u nak berlaki baru tek?" Sigh, maybe iols sik pandey nak bersosial cara uols, asking insensitive questions all the time rite. Memang anti-sosial.

So this cuti, I put on weight, badan I dah bertambah spare tyre di hadapan dan belakang, makan berselera, and some hormone imbalance that rock my cycle, and a question I kept to myself, "I tok gemok free kah?". Bengong :(

Boleh kah I wear this kind of t-shirt time pegi pengilan, pair with a PopLook dress,
long cardi and a shawl, gerenti meletops kan?

**Disclaimer: Entry ini bukan bermaksud saya ada hatred towards pregnant moms and moms all over the world, it's just that I am so badly wanna be like u babes and sometime I yang vain tok pun boleh rasa down during that time of the month. Excusez moi :P
